Volunteer Helpers Available Free of Charge for Seniors in Need of Assistance

As U.S. citizens age, sometimes we need a little extra help.  Whether it's a part time companion, cooking a meal, providing transportation, shopping, or a variety of other services, Elder Helpers is a program offering "helpers" free of charge.   They are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which can help locate a volunteer to come out to help a Senior Citizen in need.  Their website is user friendly, and available nationwide.  Just input your zip code in the appropriate box on their search page, along w/ a distance radius.  It will pull up a number of volunteers, along with codes for which services each volunteer has agreed to help out with.  Upon request, Elder Helpers will give you a code to contact the volunteer directly.  For more information on Elder Helpers and their website, CLICK HERE.
